ECS was the mechanical contractor on this project which completely replaced all major equipment in the Central Heating Plant for the campus.  Scope of work included removal of three Cleaver Brooks boilers and installation of two 500 hp Hurst, dual fuel hot water boilers, and one 150 hp dual fuel hot water boiler to provide heating water for the entire Gorham campus.  ECS removed and installed all new piping and equipment for the following systems:

•High-Pressure Hot Water

•Feedwater, including new Grundfos triplex forwarding pump set

•Fuel Oil, including new Albany duplex pump set

•Natural Gas

•Propane

•General Plumbing

•Chemical Feed

•Compressed Air, including new CAS duplex air compressor

Three new supply air fans and two exhaust fans were installed.  Heating coils were installed at the supply fans with a new glycol loop consisting of a hot water heat exchanger, and two Grundfos vertical multistage pumps.
