Engineered Construction Services Inc. was selected as the General Contractor to install the foundation for the lathe that turns the submarine shafts. Scope included excavation, ledge removal, dewatering, and concrete placement inside an operating machine shop. The complex concrete foundation was approx. 12' x 109' and included intricate concrete trenches and 156 cast-in anchor bolts to support the massive lathe.
